I’m a graduate of the SAE Institute in Audio Engineering, trained in both studio and live sound with a strong foundation in recording, mixing, and signal flow across analog and digital formats.

I began my career in New York City, starting as an intern and working my way up to assistant and engineer at some of the city’s most iconic studios — including Daddy’s House Recording Studio, Platinum Sound, and Dubway Studios. Between 2005 and 2009, I gained deep, hands-on experience in both music production and audio post, working alongside top-tier artists, producers, and engineers.

At Daddy’s House, I was part of the team during the production of Diddy’s Press Play and Danity Kane’s debut album, while Making the Band was being filmed for MTV. These sessions were fast-paced and high-pressure, blending studio work with the demands of reality TV production — a unique environment that taught me the value of precision, adaptability, and speed.

At Platinum Sound, I contributed to the production of Wyclef Jean’s Carnival Vol. II and supported mixing sessions for Estelle’s Shine. Working with multi-genre, international artists pushed my understanding of arrangement, instrumentation, and creative mixing to new levels.

My time at Dubway Studios exposed me to the world of audio post-production, where I supported voiceover, ADR, and surround mixing for major networks like Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. Dubway is known for its work on shows such as The Backyardigans, Bubble Guppies  and more.

After leaving NYC, I became an audio technician at Foxwoods Resort Casino, running front-of-house audio and monitor mixes for concerts, corporate events, and touring acts. I also worked briefly at Mohegan Sun, providing similar services for major venue productions.

Over the last 20 years, I’ve also worked as a freelance audio engineer, supporting a wide range of music, comedy, and corporate events between New York City and Boston. I’ve worked across all genres and performance types — from hip-hop and R&B to jazz, rock, EDM, and live comedy — always committed to delivering clean, professional sound, both live and in the studio.

Absolutely! I can guide you through every stage of your project — from recording and mixing to final production. I work across all genres and bring both technical skill and creative insight to help bring your music to life, from the first take to the final mix

When you book a recording session, you’re reserving a block of studio time that covers more than just the actual recording. Your booked time includes setup, soundcheck, tracking, editing takes, comping vocals or instruments, bouncing files, and preparing your final mixes or stems — everything needed to complete a professional session.

Not all of the booked time will be spent performing or recording; a significant portion is dedicated to making sure everything sounds right, organizing your takes, and managing files efficiently. This ensures your project stays polished and ready to move forward smoothly.

After the session, I’ll handle exporting your files and emailing them to you, so you have everything you need for mixing, mastering, or sharing.

Booking by the hour means you get full access to the studio and my expertise for that entire block of time, just like many professional studios do — it’s not just recording time, it’s your complete session experience.

If you have questions about how much time to book or what’s involved, feel free to ask — I’m here to help you plan the best session for your needs!
